Voluntary Research Assistant
Conducting research on captive elephants is vital to understand their behaviour, resource requirements and responses to changing environmental conditions. Blackpool Zoo is offering a unique and exciting research placement to an individual who has a high level of interest in elephants and their behaviour.
As part of our research team, you will be responsible for recording and reporting observations on our herd of Asian elephants.
This is a voluntary position and can be part or full time. You will be supported throughout your placement by our experienced team and will have the opportunity to be part of an exciting new era for Blackpool Zoo showcasing research results at both a national and international level.
