Animals Adoptions

When you purchase an animal adoption for yourself or a loved one, you are supporting Blackpool Zoo’s continued commitment to high standards of animal care. Our adoptions make the perfect gift for an animal lover of any age and we have a variety of animals to choose from.

• 12 month adoption of your chosen species
• Two admission tickets to Blackpool Zoo
• Personalised certificate of adoption
• Fascinating fact sheet of your chosen species
• Name on our adopter’s board

Please note:

• Only the species listed can be adopted.
• Once purchased, we will email you shortly after to ask for name of the adopter, where you would like it posting and if you have a specific date you would like the adoption to start. If a start date is not specified, the adoption will automatically start from the date it is processed.
• Adoptions are processed within 3 – 5 days and are posted by first class post via Royal Mail.
• Adoptions are for the whole species, rather than an individual animal. This is because an animal may leave the zoo for a number of reasons, such as being part of an international breeding programme.
• The adopter’s name will be displayed on the thank you board, situated by World of Wings. Names are displayed the following month in which the adoption starts, so please allow up to 4 weeks for the adopter’s name to be featured. If you do not want a name to be featured on the board, please email info@blackpoolzoo.org.uk.
