Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions

Gift voucher duration – All gift vouchers must be redeemed and interaction taken place within 6 months of purchase. Vouchers cannot be redeemed after the expiry date. Extensions will not be given, under any circumstances.

Use of promotional codes – promotional codes cannot be used in conjunction with gift vouchers.

Digital gift vouchers – Digital gift vouchers shall be sent to the email address provided at the point of purchase. If the email is not received within 10 minutes of booking, please contact animal.interactions@blackpoolzoo.org.uk - please ensure spam and junk folders have been checked.

Gift voucher redemption – Interactions must be pre-booked online through our website, www.blackpoolzoo.org.uk/what-we-have/experiences/animals-experiences. Select an available date and time for your interaction, you will then be asked to input your unique voucher code at checkout - please note, the code is space and case sensitive. Gift vouchers must be redeemed in full at the time of booking, any remaining value cannot be transferred or refunded.

Vouchers cannot be sold to any third parties without our consent. If consent is given, this may be subject to additional terms and conditions.

Refunds – The purchaser of the gift voucher is entitled to a 14-day cancellation period from the date of purchase, provided the voucher has not been redeemed (after which all gift vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferrable).Please check all the details of the gift voucher and the terms and conditions for the interaction before purchasing. Gift vouchers cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash or any other product.

Cancellations or amendments –. 

Date changes –

• 6 weeks + prior to the interaction one date change can be made free of charge
• Between 3 and 6 weeks prior to the interaction will be subject to a £30 admin fee.
• Dates cannot be changed less than 3 weeks before the interaction date.

If the participant is late, we are unable to extend the interaction. The interaction may be cancelled without consequence if the participant is over 10 minutes late without notification. We (Blackpool Zoo) reserve the right to cancel or amend an animal interaction if deemed necessary due to animal welfare, health issues or unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, a new voucher shall be issued and will be valid for a further 6 months.

Interaction availability - Please note, there may be limited availability at weekends and school holidays, so ensure you allow plenty of time to book your interaction, as we are unable to offer any refunds or extend the expiry of the vouchers. If a suitable date is not available, please contact animal.interactions@blackpoolzoo.org.uk as soon as possible to discuss alternative options - we are unable to assist after the gift voucher expiry.

Lost or stolen vouchers – please contact us in the event a gift voucher is lost or stolen - confirmation emails of purchase can be resent to the email address registered to the booking. We are unable to extend or refund any voucher that has been lost or stolen.
