On Sunday, 27th September we are holding an exclusive event for Gold Members.
Join us on Sunday, 27th September for an exclusive VIP Gold Member event.
With welcome drinks and breakfast pastries, you'll then be treated to an exclusive tour of the zoo as the animals are waking up. Meet their keepers, help feed the animals and see behind the scenes at breakfast time. It's then back to the Education Academy for coffee and presentations from senior zoo staff on the evolution of the zoo, the conservation projects we support and managing animals in the zoo world. After this, it's time to turn your hand to some DIY as you help us make enrichment for some of your favourite animals, and join us as we give it to them and see how they react.
To attend the event you will need to RSVP (email judith.rothwell@blackpoolzoo.org.uk or call 01253 830812) before August 31st. On the day, you will need to bring your Gold Membership card with you.
If you have any dietary or other specific requirements, or are pregnant, please let us know when you RSVP.

Can I bring a guest?
This event is one of the exclusive benefits of Gold Membership, so guests are not permitted on this occasion.
Is the event free?
Yes, the event is free as a benefit of your Gold Membership.
Can I bring my child?
If your children have their own Gold Membership, then yes. We regret that due to the nature of the event, under 3's are not allowed.
I'm a silver member, can I attend?
If you are a Silver Member, you have the option to upgrade your membership to a Gold Membership, which would enable you to attend. Please drop into reception to upgrade.
Can I join in the activities later in the day?
To take part in the event, you need to arrive first thing. The tour will start promptly at 9.00am, with drinks available from 8.30am.
I can't attend, can someone come in my place?
This event is one of the exclusive benefits of Gold Membership, so your invitation is non transferrable.
I can't attend that day, will you be doing another day?
We have tried to plan the event for a quieter time of year, out of the holiday season. In giving advance notice, we hope that all our Gold Members will be able to attend on this day.
