How to find us

Getting to Blackpool Zoo is easy, we're just two miles inland from the attractions of the famous Blackpool Golden Mile. We're set in a very picturesque part of the town, nestled by Stanley Park, Marton Mere and Blackpool Victoria Hospital.

Follow the M6 to junction 32 and take the M55 to junction 4, then follow the ‘brown elephant’ signs to the zoo. 

From the town centre or promenade, follow the ‘brown elephant’ signs.

Trains run to two stations in Blackpool: We recommend Blackpool North Station which is a 5 minute walk from the town centre, from where you can take the bus or a taxi to the zoo.

Blackpool South Station is about 3 miles from the Zoo, (there are usually plenty of taxis available at both stations).

Blackpool Transport's service 5B is a link from South Shore to Blackpool Town Centre and the Zoo, running from Halfway House to Victoria Hospital before heading to the Zoo every 60 minutes. Find the route map and timetable here.

Blackpool Transport also has a Resort Rider service, which is an hourly service connecting Cala Gran Holiday Park, Cleveleys and Norbreck to Blackpool town centre, all three piers, the Pleasure Beach and the zoo. View the timetable here.
