Eden TV was launched in January, 2009 by UKTV. Eden is a factual entertainment channel crammed with the very best blue chip BBC shows and high quality originations. It gives you a bigger picture of the world by bringing you the greatest shows on earth. Expect the most jaw-dropping images, the most authoritative guides and the most breath-taking animal, natural and physical wonders. It's a bigger, bolder, brighter version of our world.
With shows like Life, Planet Earth, Blue Planet and Galapagos, Eden takes viewers on an incredible adventure led by the world's most experienced experts, with Sir David Attenborough as a key figure on the channel.
In July 2010, Eden launched a major 3 month campaign to find the nation's top wildlife attraction and the public have been asked to vote. In return for voting online, you can download money-saving vouchers for Blackpool Zoo as well as all the other wildlife attractions taking part, and have the chance to win a "Keeper for the Day" experience.
